Amy Laurel, novel/screenwriter and actress, has a passion for telling stories about teens who are desperately trying to take control of their circumstances. The juvenile years are all about finding out what does and doesn’t work; trying on new ideas and personalities to see what sticks. Because Amy is the poster-girl for overcoming a traumatic past she is also a natural at reliving adolescence through story!
Amy has always loved telling stories and connecting with people. She worked for over six years as the VP of sales and marketing for a local branch of an international trade and barter company. She once won a brand new Jeep Grand Cherokee for top sales in 150 offices world wide and was known for never selling to people who didn’t fit the service.
Amy was born in Washington state and currently lives in Chicago with her husband and their two rescue cats. She loves gaming, reading, movies, Loki and the occasional glass of wine.
